l'OLIVAIA
Fifty km from Rome, in a territory along the boundary between the ancient towns of Sutri and Nepi and overlooking the Federal “Le Querce” Golf Course, L’Olivaia stretches along the Via Francigena over the hills of Tuscia, centred in the midst of four lakes which create an extraordinary microclimate.
L’Olivaia has an area of 20 hectares, with 7,000 olive plants, watered with a drip irrigation system, and produces organic extra virgin olive oil Olio Felice and Olivello.
The farm has received organic farming certification under EEC Regulation 209/92. It is specialised in the cultivation of olive trees and the production of extra virgin olive oil.
The olive grove is organised by fields and by cultivars, so as to facilitate and rationalise the separate harvesting operations for the different types of plants. The farm has cultivars of Caninese, Leccino, Frantoio and Moraiolo olives, all typical of this area.
